Have you ever dreamed of eating alive wriggling worm as a food option? Imagine you are travelling in nature and you find a worm somewhere. Since you are hungry you pick up the worm and chew it to feed yourself.
The worms are eaten all over the world. They are found to be a good source of protein. The worms are being harvested for the consumption purpose and are sold. They are eaten raw by some or is fried before eating.
But if you decide to try this be careful. There is safety to be followed. Though the worms are rich in proteins but have some hazards attached like Heavy metal contamination, High bacterial count and cause parasitic diseases.

Bats
Have you ever imagined ordering Bats when you visit the restaurant for fine dining? Most might find it dreaded to even think about such a thing, but there are humans who either treat it as a fine food or eat it on compulsion.
Bats are consumed by humans as food in some parts of the world. Bat is consumed in countries like Vietnam, Seychelles, Indonesia, Palau, Thailand, China and Guam.
Bats are prepared as soups, stews or curries. People eat everything of the bat, like light hairs, eyes, flesh skin etc leaving the bones behind. In Palau, it is treated as a delicacy. In some places, the bat food is considered to have high nutritional value. It is believed to be good to prevent anaemia in children where affording other meats is difficult due to poverty. But the nutritional value has not been quite clear as far as the scientific approach is concerned.
The bat eating has been termed objectionable, harmful and suspected cause of breaking of any deadly diseases from time to time like Ebolavirus, SARS-COV-2 and COVID-19. Eating bats are said to give dreaded neurological disorders and diseases

Snakes
You must have known snakes as a dreaded animal. We are fearful about this reptile and treat is very harmful. Eating snake might not have crossed our mind in the worst of our nightmares.
Snake soup is regarded as a high profile delicacy which is consumed by the human in many places in the world. In China & Hong Kong Snakes are eaten for its taste and the nutritional and medicinal values.
Snake soup is prepared with at least two types of snakes. The flesh is shredded into thread-like wires, boiled with chicken, pork bone, lean meat, fish maw, fungus, ginger, lemon leaves and other spices for flavour. The mixture is stewed for about six hours to turn into a thick soup.
Now it is up to you to decide you want to try the pink snake flesh or not.
